Alongside the new decarbonization targets for our country and the European Union, last Tuesday, CITEVE took another crucial step towards making the textile sector more sustainable with the launch of the Textile Industry Decarbonization Roadmap.
The project reveals key strategies for a greener future and aims to map out ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and identify new technologies for the entire industry. In addition, the initiative will offer tools to calculate companies’ individual carbon footprints and provide training on decarbonization technologies.
This two-year project, with the direct involvement of CITEVE, ATP and ANIVEC, aims to join forces to achieve more ambitious sustainability goals. The initial focus will be on creating strategies and implementing technologies, later involving individual companies.
